June 21, 2011 Old Rochester Farmers' Market, Summer is Here!


Happy Summer!

Enjoy the longest day of the year with some fresh summer vegetables from the Farmers' Market.
Farms:

Allen Farm (Organic, Westport) Fresh Greenhouse Grown Greens, Potted Herbs
Each week, Allen Farms comes with a wide array of potted herbs, vegetable and herb starts as well as freshly grown greens. From herbs to tea plants, cherry tomato starts to freshly clipped pea greens Allen Farms brings you Spring's harvest to enjoy.

Cervelli Farm (Conventional, Rochester) Produce, Flowers
Last week Scott sold out of Cervelli's strawberries in under an hour. Stop by early this week to get yours. Also available are greens, tomato plants, zinnias and more.

Engelnook Farm (Pesticide-free, Rochester) Farm fresh eggs, Great Hill Blue Cheese, Narragansett Creamery Cheeses and Yogurt, Llama Manure

With all the reports that naturally raised, farm fresh meat is superior nutritionally and for its quality, Beaulieu Farm is committed to meeting these standards. This week Joe will be fully stocked with beef. Also available are whole chickens.

How on Earth sources their ingredients from a variety of local farms, including Round the Bend Farm and Silverbrook Farm, both in Dartmouth.
