Come join us for another gorgeous summer afternoon at the Old Rochester Farmers' Market. Bring along your re-usable shopping bag...you will need it! There is such a wonderful bounty available from our local farmers, it would be very hard to walk away without a bag or two of gorgeous produce for you and yours to enjoy. The market is held from 3-6pm at Old Rochester Junior High School.
Allen Farm (Organic, Westport) Fresh Greenhouse Grown Greens, Potted Herbs
From herbs to tea plants, pea greens to farm fresh tomatoes the Allen Farms tent is always a colorful, cheery display of what this local farm has to offer. Each week, Allen Farms comes with a wide array of potted herbs, vegetable and herb starts as well as newly grown greens. Stop by early to get your greens.
Cervelli Farm (Conventional, Rochester) Produce, Flowers
Cervelli Farm, out of Rochester, brings along great produce. Every week their tent is busy, providing Old Rochester Farmers' Market shoppers with the bounty of summer. Cervelli Farm will be at this week's market with their infamous corn. Also available are greens, yellow squash and zucchini, tomato plants, zinnias and more.
Engelnook Farm (Pesticide-free, Rochester) Farm fresh eggs, Great Hill Blue Cheese, Narragansett Creamery Cheeses and Yogurt, Llama Manure
Engelnook Farm has a colorful variety of vegetables and greens for that summer salad you were planning. The lemon drop cucumbers are delicious in salads. Perhaps a hard boiled egg to top it off? Engelnook's chickens are humanely raised with space to roam and excellent care. Also available under the Engelnook umbrella are Narragansett's cheeses, which are delectable--their smoked mozzarella gets rave reviews.

With all the reports that naturally raised, farm fresh meat is superior nutritionally and for its quality, Beaulieu Farm is committed to meeting these standards. This week Joe will be fully stocked with all beef cuts. Pork cuts will also be available this week--ham, sausage and bacon.

The Strawberry Chocolate is great, too--it sold out last week! Check out the raw honey, too. Known for its amazing health benefits for allergies, raw honey is great for seasoning foods, tea, or as a replacement for sugar in recipes.
