Week 26, October 18, 2011 Old Rochester Farmers' Market

Thank you to all who have celebrated the bounty of the South Coast with us each Tuesday for the past 25 weeks. Today is the 26th week of the Old Rochester Farmers' Market, and we are excited for a beautiful Autumn day to enjoy while we come together fro 3-6:30 at the ORRJHS to offer our community the wonderful local foods grown and produced right in your backyard. You don't want the season to end? Consider stalking up on the items you enjoy when you shop today. Peppers are super easy to chop and freeze for the winter time, and butternut squashes will do well in a pantry or closet. It can be very easy to store foods, and doesn't have to include canning (although, canning is a great way, too). Just because you have to wait until the Spring to see the market again, doesn't mean you can't enjoy the market. We look forward to seeing you at the market today, and having you help us Keep it Local.

  1. Before choosing a dog bed consider that it's recommended that you use a crate to house train your new puppy. If you choose to do so, you will want to take into account that your puppy's dog bed will need to be able to fit in his crate.
